Oh, man, I totally forget about Xanga and my friends here. Princess_serenity07, I heart you. Seriously, this is the second time I've come back from being gone for
months and you have left a comment saying you missed me. And as soon as I saw it I totally missed you too. :)
During my little hiatus, I didn't really leave Xanga, I must confess. I kept coming back and reading the Featured blogs. There are so many talented writers here on Xanga. And, of course, everyone has something to say (several things usually) that others can benefit from or be entertained by, so I didn't sign in. I just read the stuff on the front page. I've been loving most of it. And the fact that it gets changed out so often (as opposed to how it was before I left when the same blogs would be up for like a week) is awesome. I love it.
Also, I've been invited to join the
Simple Yet Elegant Club! On December 26 of 2008, Jehovahs_Messenger commented on my blog entry "Why I Will Never Vote for Barack Obama" with the following:
Hello Ms. Music,
You made your site simple yet elegant. The music player is a nice touch. I see that you have a wide variety of interests and observations here!
I’m sending an important message to people about God’s plans for us that is in the Bible: 15 I will pour out my vengeance on all the nations that refuse to obey me." (Micah 5:15) (NLT)I am
so honored and
so excited. I heard about this club from some of my friends who had been invited to the club and I dreamed of the day when someone would welcome me. And what a lovely invitation! Not only did they comment that my blog is
simple yet elegant, but they also complimented the addition of my music player! Also, though I've already received a few fire and brimstone witnessings via comment (another Xanga initiation), I like that I got one in my
Simple Yet Elegant Club invitation. It makes it more special.
And, by the way, I accept, and look forward to my induction ceremony. Thank you, Jehovahs_messenger for inviting me.
To all of the rest of you, expect to hear from me soon.
XOXO

Don't you love the way those comments always give salutations to people? "Hello Ms. Music"? What the?
hey thanks for visiting
@ClockworkBunny - Totally. :P And hi! I had to go to your site and double-check who you were. lol. I was pretty sure that you'd changed your name, but not positive. (I like the new one even better than the old one, by the way, formerly FMB. ^_^)
What I love even more is that the "God will pour out his wrath on you" verse comes with compliments about my website, as if that will somehow make me more receptive to fiery condemnation. XD Seriously? What are these people thinking? *headdesk*
hallo long lost xanga friend (:
it certainly has been a while. and yes, i've done the unthinkable and moved from xanga to wordpress. but fear not - i shan't forget my friends here. i hope you've been doing well: it seems like updating has not been our forte these days.and you're absolutely right - i must have my trees. thank goodness UCLA has lots and lots old, majestic ones :D
